Adding a link to featured image

Please can somebody help me out to get this working. I’m currently using the theme ‘Port’. I’ve worked out that the ‘the_post_thumbnail’ is where

Within it, it pulls in 3 testimonials, each one has it’s own featured image and text. I want the featured image to be different link for each ‘post’ (as the theme uses a post area for it).

How can I turn the featured image into a different link for each testimonial.
