What is Up With Closed Threads

    Earlier today i posted a thread asking for help. I went to try and add a reply as the situation had changed and I got a message saying the thread had been closed.

    What is going on here? This isn’t the first time this has happened. I’m not posting anything illegal so why is the post closed? How is one supposed to get support if threads keep being closed?

    Which topic is that? Looking at your posts I don’t see any like that that you’ve replied to.

    Sometimes topics go wildly all over the place and those do get closed with a note. Or the topic will be a year old and those get closed automatically and can’t get reopened.

    THIS is the topic I was referring to. I posted it yesterday and tried to make a reply two hours after my initial post but got the message saying the thread was closed. Just tried again, however, and it worked. Strange.

    That topic isn’t closed but you may have run afoul of the spam filter. It happens and we get a lot of spam here as you’d imagine.
