localhost keeps downloading wordpress directory name

i downloaded my entire site using filezilla into a folder in my xampp htdocs directory. downloaded the mysql database . and edited the wp-options with localhost/localdirectory . and updated my wp-config.php file to reflect the changes .

but still when i try to access the site on localhost , it just downloads the file with directory name. please help.. thanks
