    Have you protected your registration page? That should never be protected.

    Hi

    I have no idea why the registration page would be protected. This is not something I have manually done. If this is the case how would I change it? I am pulling my hair out here:)

    To be honest though that does make sense because I am able to click the link when I am logged in to the site but not otherwise. I just have no idea where to change it.

    Try these steps:

    1. Go the page in question in the back-end, and check that you have not protected it there (i.e. the protection level box should be blank). If you need to change it to unprotect it, don’t forget to hit update.

    2. If the problem isn’t there, you need to go to s2Member’s Restriction Options, and see if you have a setting there that might be catching the page (e.g. URI protections).

    Okay when you say the back end do you mean via the hosting? I will have a check now, thanks.

    Thing is I am a bit puzzled as the previous membership plug in worked fine however this one doesnt seem to be having any of it 🙁

    This one is working as expected. You just haven’t yet set it up correctly.

    Finally I have sorted it. It wasnt to do with pages being locked down it simply was a few settings that I missed out in general options. Thanks for your help 🙂
