EventManager – Required Fields Not Actually Required?

I’m currently using EventManager 1.1.0 with my WordPress and I changed a bit of it around (like states -> provinces). Right now, the script will take even an empty signup form as a valid registration, even though it supposedly says the default text fields for address, city and everything else are all required. I checked the EventManager site where it says there needs to be a class “r” for the form to be required, and I check that it’s all there. So what went wrong? What can I do to fix this?
