• When styling or formatting the text on my pages, either bold or italic or flush left, when I save and view the page the sidebar is below the content and the background color disappears, page looks haywire. I read that an HTML error in the code can cause this but I am using the palate to style, not adding HTML.

I usually have to remove ALL content, put it into trf format and put it back in as clean text and restyle it.

  • Link please. I’m assuming you’re using IE as a browser, right?

Using Firefox and Safari. here is a link to a screenshot of the page. the sidebar moves below the content area. http://energeticempowerment.org/error2.jpg

I have corrected the pages by bringing the code into Dreamweaver and doing an error check. It found “Open div tags”

I checked the html in the page and <Div.. tags are put between the paragraphs (when I hit a return) with no closing </div> indicating things like left align.

Also this code <strong /> is stuck before some paragraphs causing it to go bold. As I said, the code is inserting itself.
