How to edit widgetable area?

I’m currently using AgentPress Pro as my theme and am trying to replicate the side by side widgets as shown in this link (the slider image and property search sectioin):

I’d like to replicate this in my home-featured widgetable area. When placing two plugins into this widgetable area it aligns them vertically. I’d like them to align horizontally and have them at 25% and 75%.
