php_value memory_limit blank page

    Hi,

    I discovered this line into my .htaccess:

    php_value memory_limit 128M

    I tried to delete this line but then when I try to access to the blog I get a blank page. Restoring the line solve the problem, but I don’t know why I need it. Is it a wordpress request?

    Yes, that’s a way to increase the amount of server memory that your site uses. If everything is working with that line present, you might as well leave it there. 🙂
