• Hey guys!

    I’ve been trying to add Contact Form 7 for hours and can’t get it up and running.
    After downloading and activating it, I click it on the left panel, then hit the blue button “Add New”; it then loads the “Fatal Error” page. Need help as I’m working for someone else and need to get this done!

    Thanks

  • Dear originalslideshow,
    There is a related question in a WordPress forum

    If you’re a programmer, you might be able to fix it with the advice from that post.

    My best,

    Thanks Ryan,

    Maybe you can help me with that. A member recommended this to the poster:

    “$callback = ‘self::’ . $prop;
    change to ->
    $callback = ‘WPCF7_ContactFormTemplate::’ . $prop;”

    I’m not sure where to find “$callback = ‘self::’ . $prop;”
    because I’m not building the form from scratch, I’m using
    Contact Form 7…I’m relatively new to all this and I appreciate
    your patience and knowledge.

    Thanks

    Dear originalslideshow,
    The link I gave you had a tip on changing the plugin code. But that’s a temporary solution at best.

    You might try a different plugin, as it sounded like you’re in a hurry. Gravity Forms has a $39 annual license, and they’ll work right away. I’m not affiliated, but I use them.

    My best,
    Ryan
