• Hi there,

I’ve been testing Woocommerce, and have encountered a weird problem with the international shipping – I can’t tell exactly what is causing the problem, as it might be a combination of two problems?

The basic problem seems to be that woocommerce is caching each international shipping cost, and doesn’t recalculate the shipping even if the rate has changed. (Adding an item and recalculating the shipping gives a correct cost, but when you remove the item and go to the original order, ‘recalculating’ the shipping produces the incorrect cost)

However, I initially noticed this because it was generating an incorrect cost (reverting to the minimum handling fee instead of calculating the fee as a percentage of the order cost) – I have no idea if these two errors are connected.

I had been trying woocommerce with the wootickets plugin, and that may have been the source of the handling fee miscalculation (I’m sure the fee was calculated correctly when I initially set it up) – but turning off all plugins except woocommerce doesn’t solve the apparent caching issue (nor does de- and re-activating woocommerce, or turning the shipping option off completely).
