apparent spam – can it be fixed

    HI,
    Initiated stop spammer yesterday.
    Instead of 17+ new subscribers by midday, received only 3.
    Great!
    Checked the 3 email addresses with an email verifier (http://www.verifyemailaddress.org/)
    who ok’d them as valid addresses. However, when address owners checked, it turned out to all be everify.com, which has a very poor rating on WOT and appears to be behind many other subscribers I have received. Obviously a spam.
    Is it possible to fix this, especially when all of them are coming from one address owner which has a poor rating?

    I tried to find a list of email domains owned by everify.com and could not find one.

    All I can suggest is to add the domains to the email black list on the settings page.

    Thanks for checking.
    I only wonder if a fake email address like allmyanchoves@yahoo.com would make it through, because it is apparent that some of the emails making it through the check are on the face of it spam.
