Create line break using iPad: How?

    I noticed that one of the content contributors on our site was having trouble getting a simple line break (i.e., without starting a new paragraph which would, in effect, add an undesirable blank line). I told her to use Shift-Enter, which does the trick on my Ubuntu desktop (running Chrome). But she told me that she uses an iPad and Shift-Enter doesn’t work. I’ve done some searching and see that many people run into this problem with the iPad (especially on FaceBook). So, how does one get just a line break when editing content via an iPad?

    Are you using WordPress IOS app? It should be easily possible if instead you use chrome or safari, and then the text editor, not the visual editor.
