I am using NextGen Gallery version Version 2.0.66.29

I installed this and added dozens of galleries to a site thinking that it was fully responsive. It appears that the thumbnails are responsive but the the lightbox images are not. Am I correct on this? I think I’ve read that the “Pro” version contains fully responsive lightbox images – is this correct? If so, can I simply purchase the pro version, upgrade and all my lightboxes will be responsive or will I have to do anything else to my site?

  • I also notice that NGG is not 100% responsive. I bought the Plus version even for extra and still does not work right. I tested things on Samsung Galaxy phone and tablet. Some images were cutoff. Dont pinch/zoom you’ll end up with a black screen no image displayed. Have to refresh the entire webpage. I wouldn’t buy the Plus or the Pro until there is proper input and fix for this lack of responsiveness.

@justduckydesigns – The NextGEN Pro Lightbox (available with NextGEN Plus and NextGEN Pro) will do a much better job of displaying a responsive Lightbox effect than the standard Lightbox libraries bundled with NextGEN Gallery as a convenience.

Please see our demo pages at http://nextgen-gallery.com/ for examples of what you might expect to see.
