Oops, I get it. you mean posting from ifttt, I have not used ifttt, but if it skiped action of publish post or save post when posting, the plugin will not works.
I’ll try to find a way to figure this out. if possible.

no problem, it used to work just fine, it is doing a publish action… it has to! But i tried to post with wordpress android with a random imgur image and the auto-save-image didn’t trigger as well, so im not sure if its your plugin (cause if i do go to the post and press publish again it pulls the image just fine and going to the auto-save-image settings and do an automatic there also works, no prob)..
if you need more info or whatever just ask away, thanks again for the great plugin and support 🙂
Now 1.5.8 released, I’m not sure that has solved the problem, please help me to test.
