    Hey everyone!
I hope someone can help me, I am already desperated πŸ™

Since a few weeks or even months my readers expect some issues with commenting. While I was using the WP standard comment form, an empty .php-file “wp-comments-post.php” was downloading when a comment could not be posted. This occured only with readers, not with admin.

After downgrading my site to standard theme and old backups (not database) and de- and re-activating every plugin I tried to install a new comment plugin, just to be sure.
Long story short – after downloading a comment plugin WP-Ajaxify-Comments I figured out what the problem is, but cannot solve it.

The problem is the “http://” while posting a comment. When someone is posting a comment and leaves the space for the website empty, or types “example.com” – the comment will post successfully.
But if they type “http://example.com” – my site re-loads and nothing else happens.

    Two problems resulting of this:
    1. After posting successfully with “example.com” – WordPress (or something else) inserts http:// automatically, SO when posting the next time, the http:// is already there and the next comment cannot be posted

    2. Where can I remove the automatical inserting of “http://”

Thanks in advance, best regards, Alexandra
