    Hi,

I have just installed wordpress 4.0 on Google Compute Engine.

When I use one of the standard themes everything is working as per normal (ie I can see the posts).
I have added the free version of ignite as a trial. But when I activate Ignite, I cannot see any of the posts.

Could you please advise on the error?

It looks like you have switched themes. Do you still need assistance getting Ignite to function properly?

    Hi Ben,

    Sorry for my late reply.

Yes, we needed to get things up and running so needed to get another theme. But I still prefer the Ignite theme, but cannot get it working for some reason.

I have just updated it to v1.39

When I run it on my local machine everything seems to be working correctly; but upon upload to GCE it when I activate the theme it does not show any posts or general.
You can see a picture of it here https://www.dropbox.com/s/igfo62z9bt1v1gz/Capture.JPG?dl=0

The other themes all seem to work correctly on GCE; are there any special requirements for Ignite?

Hmm I’m not quite sure why GCE wouldn’t work with it. There aren’t any special requirements for Ignite.

Are there any plugins you’re running on your hosted site that you aren’t running locally? If so, that could be a source of the issue.

Also, do you know what version of PHP you’re running?

I don’t think there was any different on the Production machine compared with my desktop.
Your theme was one of the first I tried before I started adding any of the plug ins.

I just checked Google App Engine is using PHP 5.4.

If you would like I could give you a WordPress login to check the configuration.

Also I will purchase the theme if we can get it up and running.

Yea that would be great. You can send the details to me at support@competethemes.com.

    Thanks!
