How to integrate plugin to current theme

Hello! I recently downloaded and activated Community News plugin, which I’m running on Decode theme. I love this plugin and so far its working great! However some things are seeming buggy and I’m wondering if this is because i havnt integrated the plugin into the theme? Specifically, looking at this page:

The post author box seems buggy, the way its showing up so big without any information. Is this because I have’nt integrated this plugin with my current theme? If so, could someone explain to me how to do that? Thanks SO much!
