thanks for using MH Purity lite.
The theme hasn’t been designed to view the entire post content in the archives and it is using the_excerpt() to display the excerpts.
You could modify the theme as you like and try to add the_content() instead. But please keep in mind that you will need to apply further customizations to make this work properly.

In case this is a requirement for your site and if you don’t have experience in coding, it probably would be better if you just use another theme that meets your requirements.
Thanks for the reply, i like having a go so am happy to try your suggestion above. In saying that does the premium theme offer this option without a change of code? On another note i like your theme layouts and the feel, it would be great if you had a student subscription so i could use them properly, haha.

The premium version will also display excerpts on archives, there is no option to switch to full content. As this is a magazine theme, for most of the users it’s important to generate page impressions (regarding ads, stats for advertisers, etc…) and actually it’s probably not a good idea to display full content on archives when on the other hand you want to generate page impressions. 😉
