Just create a new sidebar and add whichever page/post you want it to be applied to on the left hand side, then select the sidebar/widget area it is replacing. It will appear in the widgets area automatically. Let me know how you get on.

Hi getting it to appear in the widgets area is not the problem.
I have a blog sidebar already set as standard with my theme for all blog posts. I wish override that for particular blog articles but I do not see how that is possible. There is no option on the blog post itself, or on the page with options of your sidebars.
The above solution appears to add the post text into the sidebar and not only is not that what I’m looking for it doesn’t seem to work either. Is there any solution?

To override a sidebar for a particular post
- Create a new sidebar by going to Appearence > Theme Sidebars
- Add the particular post to this sidebar from the post metabox on the left hand side
- Our plugin will automatically handle the override in the background. You don’t need to do anything else.

I have followed those instructions to the letter and it’s not working. Perhaps there is a clash with another plugin I use or some other issue linked only to my site but I think it’s easiest for me to try another plugin then flog a dead horse. Thank you for your assistance.
