Feed not working with custom post types

Hi,

I created a custom post type called “item” so all my posts look like this mydomain.com/item/somepost. Thats fine, however, in my header the feed for every post is linked like this: mydomain.com/item/somepost/feed but if you visit that URL you get an 404 error.

How can i fix this?

P.S. The feed works fine for the normal posts such as mydomain.com/somepost/feed
