  • Which CDN are you using? What problems are you seeing because of using the CDN?

Lots of our users are using Cloudflare (which has AWESOME support, btw!) with no problems.

I use CDNsun and i dont have any option to enable it now in Wordfence Security like i had when i used W3TC

Or is it any other plugin that i can use whit this?

I have done little testing now:

The loading time is amazing: http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/dPPFRY/www.myabdllife.com

But the Perf. grade gives me lower score now when i dont have any Parallelize downloads across hostnames or Combine external JavaScript

    this is an old test.

should this dont speed up things even more whit help off CDN? And CDNsun have more place to store information then Cloudflare have. Plus they use SSD disk.

So, is the CDN hosting your site or just images?

And are you using Wordfence just for security or caching and security?

Most images but even some files.

The cashing in Wordfence is really amazing my site responding match faster. I think about the security as a good option.

Way are you asking me this things?

So, lets take a step back. What problems are you seeing exactly?

I dont see any errors if thats is what you mean. The problem i have is that i dont have any way to setup Wordfence Security to work whit my CDN. I dont have any field to enter the CDN information.

This is the network place that CDNsun have: http://cdnsun.com/network

and this is spots that Cloudflare have: https://www.cloudflare.com/network-map

CDNSUn have allot of more places. Thats way i wont to use them instead.

So youre expecting it to scan the external files and it’s not, right? Is a copy still on your server or do they upload direct to cdnsun?

They are on my server and on cdnsun at the same time.

I dont think i expecting it to scan the external files. Way do you think that?

Here can you find out more about it.

    http://cdnsun.com/how-it-works

Or this is maybe covering what you asking about:

How Is Content Uploaded To CDN?

Your content is pulled from your website by our CDN servers automatically when it is requested by your visitors.

When some your visitor at some location requests your CDN content, the content is pulled from your server (if it is not already cached), served to the visitor and then cached at our CDN server. All additional requests in that location are served from that CDN server until the content expires.

Moreover you can prefetch your content to all CDN servers immediately using the client section or the API.

I’m asking because there is a little bit of a language barrier here and I want to be sure I understand the issue. I wasn’t (and still aren’t) very clear about what you expect Wordfence to do. If you don’t expect us to scan the external files (we already scan the ones on your server), then I have to assume you want us to cache them for you. The problem with that is that CDNSun may already be caching them, making the files cache twice which can lead to problems with how they are displayed. Also, the essence of a content delivery network is to speed up delivery by server location and bandwidth available to them. I’m not sure the advantage to caching something you are sending to them. Basic caching might be a good idea, since basic caching uses PHP to serve up pages that are stored on disk. So PHP, WordPress and Wordfence execute and interrupt execution to serve up a pre-rendered page early in the execution cycle. This provides a nice speed increase without having to edit your .htaccess.

You could enable Falcon caching if you wanted, which would speed up the pages as well, but you’d have to ad the htaccess stuff and play with that. I’m not familiar with CDNSun but I bet their support team has answered the question about how to enable CDNSun with Wordfence a bunch of times.

From the link you sent me it looks like the only time CDN pulls from you server is if the request is looking for new files, in which case it grabs them and stores them in CDNSun’s servers. It doesn’t sound like much would be delayed at all.

The thing that i miss is a option for CDN info.

    This kind of settings: http://461022451.r.cdnsun.net/htdocs/images/knowledgebase/integrations/wptc_set_cname.jpeg

I have talk to CDNSun and they seems to have newer heard about the Wordfence Security.

    Hi,

Unfortunately Wordfence Falcon Engine does not include CDN integration at the moment. However we do work with many CDN’s – we just don’t include features in our product that let you manage your CDN from within Wordfence.

    Regards,

    Mark.
