that is because Opera Mini has very limited JavaScript support. JavaScript is executed on Opera’s servers when you submit something or click a link, so don’t expect AJAX and JavaScript frameworks like jQuery to work correctly on it.

Opera Mini is designed mainly for non-smart phones, on Android system you should use full fledged Opera Mobile or any other browser for properly displaying websites content.
