Increase footer width change color

My site width is set to 1000px, now i want to increase the width of footer while keeping the site width same, additionally i want to change the color of footer (top footer and down one “Where Copyright © is written” both with different color). I have already changed the top footer color but dont know how to change the down one as well. Any help?

i see you manage to find the solution, try add padding also like tis
```
#custom .footer-top { color:#fff;width:96%;padding:2%;background-color:#8D0404; }
#custom .footer-bottom { width:96%;padding:2%;background-color:#A12222; }
#custom .footer-top a { color:#fff !important; }
#custom .footer-top h3.widget-title  { color:#fff !important; }

It changed the color of font while footer color is still the same and also width is same. I want to increase the width and color of the footer.

remove max-width on your custom css
body {
margin: 0 auto;
max-width: 1000px;
}

and add this instead

#wrapper {
margin: 0 auto;
float:none !important;
max-width: 1000px;
}

add this to theme option->custom css
```
#custom footer.footer-bottom, #custom footer.footer-bottom .fbottom {
background-color:#000;
}
```
