• Client is using Google calendar atm. I have a page for each month that lists special days/events that occur yearly during that month.

I have the Google agenda along the side that shows upcoming events, but it obviously only shows starting from today on.

Client would like to see the events for the month corresponding to which page is displayed. For example, if I am on the ‘September” page, the agenda should show the events coming up in September. If I am on the “May” page, it should show the events coming up in May.

Client still wants to use Google to enter events.

So the question is, can I link to the Google calendar events from via an ics file and if so, will this plugin allow me to do something like I mentioned above.

    Hope I made myself clear….

    Thanks for your time.

  • The answer is sort of.

You can set a start date for the whole calendar globally (no use for you), or passed through shortcode.

The issue is, the agenda-widget isn’t callable through shortcode, so you’d have to use a modified form of the main agenda calendar instead. This means you wouldn’t have the agenda view usable for a complete calendar.

FWIW: Importing from Google isn’t a problem.
