Activating the Blog Page

    I have set up a news page and added a recent post widget.

    I would like to see the full image and post on the page however all I can see is the titles – no image or text.

    I went to Appearance – Theme Options – Blog Page
    I changed the settings in the Control Blog Page section to show entire article
    I also activated the sidebar.
    However these changes do not seem to work as the page is still just titles.

    I did a similar thing in the Control Single post Page – it works fine.

    I did see a previous post regarding changing line 53 in the 05.blog.php.
    I tried this but still no luck.

    Can you offer a solution please.

    I didn’t follow up on my original question as I have been working on local host.

    Today I uploaded my site to the server but I have a Major problem – any aspect related to the theme does not work.

    Example my home page just shows the theme page – not the page I created using the theme.

    Also on all the other pages I created a sidebar with my blog post titles and archives – this doesn’t show up either.

    I set up a child theme so I could create a custom css sheet, not sure if that is creating the error, this is my first wordpress site.

    I am doing this website for free for a volunteer organisation – I like the theme and want to continue using it for this site and another I am doing.

    I would really appreciate it if you can help me fix this please.

    Just wanted to be clear everything (apart from the original post problem) worked perfectly on local host.

    Specifically, the home page is the one I created. I can see the sidebar I created that shows the post titles and the archives.

    I am wondering id something didn’t upload correctly – I did reload the themes sections, I got one error message

    select2_local_lv.js – file not found or something like that.

    use wp-migrate-db to export you database
