Themes are almost blank?

    Hi.
    I’m new to all this.
    I’m trying to make a gallery. When I find a nice theme I like and install and activate it, the page just says “Nothing Found”. The gallery is gone. I only see the heading.

    Is it not supposed to be installed as viewed? If the gallery isn’t there i might as well make a theme myself from scratch.

    (And when I preview the themes, there is always an annoying boat).

    I’m using Chrome on an Imac if that’s important info.
