    Hello,

I just installed WordPress at http://www.socialanxiety.com/wordpress

    1. When I click on the “Comments”, the right sidebar goes away. How can I enable that?

    2. On the same page, clicking on any time stamp, brings me to the homepage folder, instead of the wordpress folder. Is that a configuration issue?

    Thanks!

    – David

  • 1. not sure which file it is, but right now your comments are displaying on a page other than index.php… try renaming comments.php (if it’s in your theme folder) to something else and see if that helps.

    2. that’s probably a configuration issue go to the admin panel and click on the options tab. check where the Blog address (URL): is pointing to.

This is a clean installation. We didn’t modify anything. The blog directory is set to http://www.socialanxiety.com/wordpress

I renamed the comments.php file, and it didn’t seem to make a difference. The comments are being accessed through http://www.socialanxiety.com/wordpress/?p=1#comments, which I assume is index.php

    Thanks,

I figured it out. I had a <base href> tag in there that was messing up the paths!

    Thanks 🙂
