Thanks. How large are the files you’re trying to download?
About 1 to 7 megabyte. I’m test it with under 1 meg files also.
all off theme be damage.Where are you storing the zip files?
I’m upload it from edd download post type editor and it’s store in : wp-content/upload/edd/….
What are you using to create the zip files, winzip?
i use WinRAR but i test it with winzip and 7zip and other programs.
I’m think this problem only related to direct mode of EDD plugin. because when i use WordPress standard Uploader or EDD redirect mode all things work correctly.I’m really not sure why it’s getting corrupted, sorry. I’ve seen it a few times but it was almost always due to server resources or file size.
Are you able to use the redirect method?
yes, i don’t have any problem with redirect method
I have been having problems with this too but with over 400mb zip files.
Re-uploading the files via ftp sorted out the corrupt (incomplete) files but now I have a new problem where the download button on the order confirmation page dons’t work properly. The file can be downloaded from the links in email but not from confirmation page button.Any ideas?
If you are selling really large files, I’d highly recommend you use something like Amazon S3 to host the files. We have an extension for it: https://easydigitaldownloads.com/extensions/amazon-s3/
Distributing files as large as that simply won’t be reliable on a large number of hosting accounts.
how about my problem?
