# Now question is that should I add code provided by you below this code or overwrite it?

I would suggest looking at the resource section in the Codex page.Hi sam01389,
To clarify, the style.css file you create in your child theme folder should be a new, empty style sheet. You then edit that stylesheet and add the code Kadence Themes provided.
Hope this helps!
