Upgrade error 2.2.2 -> 2.2.4

    For some reason the upgrade process hung at the “uninstalling old plugin stage”… the new version shows in plugins as inactive and won’t activate die to causing a fatal error related to missing file / function.

    Any ideas ? Maybe I was just unlucky!
    Currently in the pub so can’t roll back to the backup I took just before just now!

    I’ll go with just unlucky.

    After backing up the files & db in the failed state as well I deleted woocommerce as a plugin. Seemed to only delete the files, not any tables or content.

    Made a clean reinstall which was successful and seems to have picked up all the existing settings & content as before.

    Phew.
