@inget Namn – Please update to the current version of NextGEN Gallery (2.0.66.29) … all of my testing shows the NextGEN Widget working just fine in Twenty Thirteen.
Thanks!

Thats the version I have
@inget Namn – Can you provide a link to where this is happening?
Have you checked for conflicts with other active plugins?
Do your galleries display OK when you insert them into posts or pages?– Cais.
No plugin conflicts – I have checked.
Nextgen galleries work perfect, its just the widget random/latest that doesnt work for me.Here is the link:
http://www.sthlm-herp.net/@inget Namn – You appear to be using Twenty Thirteen as you theme, have you modified its CSS?
– Cais.
No I have not
@inget Namn – Do you have any other custom CSS being used on your site that affects images? I’m simply not able to reproduce this issue on any of my test sites so I am at a loss if you say there are no plugins conflicting in this case as well.
– Cais.
No I have no custom css at all.
Fluke error then.I checked again the plugins to be sure and no plugin conflict.
I disabled other widgets and no conflict.
I recreated thumbnails but that was not the issue.@inget Namn – After another closer look at your site I see you are using the Secondary widget area in Twenty Thirteen. Adding that to my test environment does reproduce this issue (sorry for not noticing that before).
Now, after some trial and error I have a solution (and to be honest I am not certain which is more to blame Twenty Thirteen or NextGEN Gallery) which is to add some custom CSS to correct for this issue.
#ngg-webslice > div > a > img { max-width: none; }I tested that by adding it under Gallery > Other Options > Style … you can probably add it under any other custom CSS such as the one available with Jetpack, it should still work.
The CSS should be specific enough that it will not interfere with anything else but if you need to add more specificity you should be able to do so by appending
aside.widgets.ngg-imagesto the above.Thanks!
– Cais.
That worked!
Thank you very much for your help!
Any ideas how to get them lined up side by side?@inget Namn – That would most likely be a theme related issue in this case. The theme controls the width of the widget area.
You can either look into customizing the widget area width(s), or you could alternately choose a much smaller thumbnail size so you will have more columns.

Much appreciated. Thanks again for your help!
@inget Namn – You are very welcome … and, again, my apologies for not finding this solution earlier.
