Cancel comment reply link not working properly

    I cannot seem to change the text for cancel_comment_reply_link. It just shows as the default ‘cancel reply’ text.

    I’m using it in comments.php like so:

    <?php cancel_comment_reply_link( 'X' ); ?>

    Can’t see any reason why this shouldn’t work. Any ideas?
