display custom post type on a page

    Hi, I have created several custom post types and want to be able to display them on different pages. I would like to have some content on the page first and the display the posts underneath in the grid layout. I’m not sure how to go about this but thinking I might need to create a shortcode to display the posts or is there an easier or better way. thanks
