• Hi,

I’ve just installed my second wordpress database on my domain. I’ve followed all the instructions, and now twice (I deleted and re-installed after this happened the first time) it says everything is successful but everything is viewed in plain text?

    IE: http://imgur.com/eGpXMPk

You can see it here: http://www.annathairs.com/advertising/
and http://advertising.annathairs.com (I tried as a subdomain just in case that was the problem – I’m not sure why the first is still around considering I deleted the folder in my FTP client?)

It’s making it really hard to get to grips with and code the templates I want to use. I’m learning all this as I go along – teaching myself html/css/etc in bits and pieces, so it’s probably something obvious I’ve misunderstood. I’m just a bit confused as my other wordpress account – http://www.annathairs.com/blog – still looks fine and when I try to log in that has the interface as per usual? I’ve tried looking on different browsers and it’s still the same.

    Thanks for any help.

  • Check your style.css file in your theme folder. It looks like it is loading, but is blank.

Delete the theme via ftp and reupload it to see if it fixes it.

    Hi,

Thanks for the advice. I’ve now deleted and re-installed and re-downloaded the wordpress package about five times and it’s still doing the same thing.

    Any advice?

    Thanks so much!

All of your theme files show blocked by client and are not loading. the names are showing up in your head tag, but are throwing errors and not actually being read.

Have you checked your file permissions? http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions

If that doesn’t help, try contacting your hosting company and maybe they will be able to look at your file structures, etc. and be able to help you better.
