I have a strange issue. I have few items on the portfolio with filters and all. It works great, but obviously I don’t want the “http://domain/?page_id=37” type of url so I changed the permalink setting to “Post Name”. Now links are fine, but the portfolio no longer utilizes the Nimble plugin but rather looks like the regular portfolio. The site address is: recode.bg

The slug of Portfolio page is displaying Portfolio items archive instead of actual page.

If you change your page’s slug to my-portfolio or our-portfolio or the-portfolio or something more suitable then the page will be displayed instead of post archive.

Yes, I found out that using anything different than “Portfolio” for the name of the page fixes the problem. That is why it is now called “Our Work”. But I still don’t understand why I can’t use just “Portfolio”.. I mean.. the idea of a portfolio is in fact to display portfolio items.

You can use “Portfolio” for your page name, its the slug which is actually making the conflict.
