Hello! Great plugin, been using it for years! I have a client whose website was migrated from an old server and ever since then the shortcodes quit working. I’ve updated the plugin, deactivated everything else and only activated Nextgen, checked functions.php, tried editing the shortcode_manager.php in non-pope folder…no luck anywhere!

    Here is the page: http://goo.gl/65MAiz

Please let me know if you have any ideas on how to fix it! Or maybe there is a longer way to make the shortcode work even if it’s only temporary? Thanks!

@savesheep – Check to make sure the shortcode structures are still correctly being written by looking at them in the Text tab of the editor.

Otherwise, I would suggest using the IGW (“green button”) to re-insert the displays as it should only take a few clicks to recreate the NextGEN Legacy shortcode you are using.

    Thanks!

Hey photocrati – so it turned out that my custom theme broke after the WP 4.0 update. For future reference, on page.php the old code was get_the_content whereas the new code is just the_content. Removing the get_ allowed for all the shortcodes to work again.

    Thanks for the quick followup!
