Using sidebars (i hate theme :p) or without infinite scrolling isn’t a problem, but:
1) some people prefear a one column layout (maybe with full with :D)
2) some people use only footer areaa for widgets (i prefear 3 footer areas for them), and wirth infinite scrolling… bye bye 🙂
So i think that have a little search field in header, or near it, can be a great thing.
Next days some bugs founded comparing Perfetta with Serene theme.
Remember that not all WP users are php programmers 😀

Hello,

You are right – with infinite scrolling the footer widgets will be unachievable – we will consider some solution for it.

Regarding the widget area for the search field – we will add it in v.1.1 too 🙂

Just do it, but using widget field for search isn’t nice and fine.
Other thing: how to disable author bio field? Because i use a plug in for that, and i really like my that plug-in 🙂

over that i use, under your… i prefear mine, wwith social icons and lotta options inside 🙂 ]
IMHO you try to do a dynamic little serach field like this one (Serene WP theme)

The author block can be modified in the author-bio.php file – you can override it in the Child theme.

Regarding the search field – what exactly do you expect? A special area only for the search field or something other?

1) i’m a big newbie with php and so on… i don’t understand how to delete theme author bio on posts.
2) yes, a little special area for search field.
Other things that can be cool (imho):
1) footer widgets only on single post (and, if possible, pages, but not in main page for infinite scrolling… that it’ss really cool 😀 )
2) some (maybe only most important: facebook, twitter, instagram and few others) social network links.

Yes, but it’s so no different, IMHO, then using a search field inside a widget 🙁
