• I just set up Job Manager and am trying it out. I created a second email, as if I were an employer, logged in and submitted a job. Then I went in with my WP Admin ID and approved the listing. It is shown as public. However, the listing does not show up.

can you provide link to website.

    hire65.com

When you select “Jobs,” you get the message, “You need to be signed in to manage your listings.”

I am new to WordPress, so I am sure I missed some little setup. I left the lines for “slugs” blank, if that matters. The jobs submitted, like I said, do, in fact, appear for me to approve, which I have done.

    Thanks for any help.

there is a list of themes for sale showing on the jobs page. is that intentional?

No, I thought that the ads came with the free edition of WP. That was my next objective (after I got the site working) – to get rid of the ads, if possible. This is supposed to be an ad-free site.

there are ads on WP.com. there are no ads on WP.org
who is your web hosting company?
perhaps you are using a plugin that is creating ads.
