During the Goaddy Hosting Metropolis install, you specify the database user and password, and you also provide the blog Admin name and password.
Since you just installed this, just uninstall WordPress, via Hosting Metropolis. Then again with Host Metropolis, reinstall WordPress, but record the information as you enter it.
Try http://yourdomain/wp-admin/.
Thanks for the info.
But remember I am an ultra newbie at this. Once I have that written down, where do i go to access the admin of the blog? WordPress.com and log in using that info or where?
I sincerely am sorry to waste y’all’s time about all this…
Sean
Hosting Metropolis gives you a real chance to be more than a newbie. Try a couple of uninstalls and reinstalls.
The first step in the Metropolis install asks you to select the domain for the installion of WordPress.
You then provide the database information. Save the database password for future reference.
Then you are asked to “Choose Install Folder”. In the “Install it into folder” field enter the folder you wish to install WordPress (wordpress is the default). If you want WordPress installed in your web-root folder (the domain you specified above) then blank out that “Install it into folder” field.
The next section asks for the Configuration information. This will be the blog admin user and password and email. Remember what you type there.
After the install is complete you should be able get to the blog admin by typing your domain address + folder name you installed into + wp-login.php
www.sample.com/wordpress/wp-login.php
Sorry, that link gives me nothing.
Am I supposed to install some kind of management app on the server or something? It just doesn’t make sense. I though these blog and forum things were supposed to be fairly easy. I didn’t know I as supposed to understand SQL and PHP just to have a blog and/or forum….
Sean
Yeah I wrote everything down, but then it just says it is installed. It says there MAY be extra steps involved in getting the application set up, but then no options for extra settings are ever shown. Just Done Installing.
Got the database and Admin stuff and passwords… just don’t know what to do with it.

Sorry, that link gives me nothing.
Of course it’ll give you nothing – it’s not a real link. You need to put in *your* domain name where “smaple.com” is. So, if you installed wordpress at boogerface.net, then your login area would be boogerface.net/wp-admin. If you put it in a subfolder named “blog”, it’ll be “boogerface.net/blog/wp-admin” – it depends on where you put it. That’s where you go to log in.
Alternatively, if you can see the site as the public will see it, it’s installed the Kubrick theme, which comes with a link to your amin area in the sidebar under “Meta” (you want “login”).
Forgot to mention that in the Hosting Metropolis under ‘My Applications`, click on the WordPress link there, and you will see the Blog URL presented.
And as doodlebee so smartly remembered, click on the Login link to get to your blog’s admin section.
Of course I know the http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin will give me nothing. What I meant was, the link to my site + /wp-admin gave me nothing.
But thanks for all the support folks. With the combination of all the stuff mentioned here I was able to figure it out!
