Hello…im not sure if this is possible within TablePress…but, it would help greatly if you might be able to advise, or suggest the best approach for this issue I have..

My issue is I am creating a very large table of over 1,000 rows, and im trying to find the most efficient way to be able to link specific fields without having to do each one manually.

Is it possible to have a custom post type to automatically link from within a cell in TablePress?…For example, I have a column for ‘Genre’ and want to be able to have each specific Genre category link to its appropriate page automatically.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..Thanks.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Sorry, but I don’t really see a way to use TablePress here. If you have multiple post with a Custom Post Type, you should create a Page Template maybe and then use a WP Query in it to generate a table. You could then also add the DataTables JS library for sorting, etc. manually to that.

I see…so Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) wouldnt work with this, right?

    Hi,

no, ACF can not be used directly with TablePress.
