Hi Eli, your plugin is working on my site. So far all is good. I’ve run scans weekly for the past month, and just this week, new read/write errors are showing up that weren’t before.
Have you updated the plugin to find these files that maybe have permissions set too high? These errors are showing up mostly in wp-includes, but there are several showing in the templates directory and admin/includes directory.
All my php files are set to 644. Does your plugin want to find them set to 444 or 404 now?
Excuse me, sorry for my last post. I meant to ask if your plugin wants to find these read/write error files set to 604?
My plug does not need the permission set to anything specific, it just needs to be able to read the files (and write to them when a fix is needed).
If these errors just started coming up it is because my plugin has just now become unable to read these files. It could be because of a change in the permissions, but it is more likely a PHP/server resource issue. My script may be running out of memory while trying to open and search all those files (especially the larger ones).

This is not the right topic to post your problem. I have just released a new plugin update, you should try that (version 3.15.16) and if you have any more issues you should start a new topic that is not already marked resolved.Aloha, Eli

Thank you for sending me a login to you site, I was able to determine the source of the problem. It was one of the definition updates I had recently released, it didn’t work so well on large files. I was able to and fix this in the latest release of my definition updates. Please let me know how it’s working for you.Aloha, Eli
Thank you, Eli. I installed the update and all of the errors are gone. Not only that, but the scan went much, much faster! You go above and beyond the call of duty. I appreciate all of your help. Resolved.
