• Just upgraded yesterday morning to 4.0.
Now drafting a post and I’m unable to preview the post using any of the 3 buttons” permalink/view post, Draft /preview or on Posts page/preview.

I get the following message on the blog page: Page Not Found

I have tried deactivating all plugins — the same thing: Page Not Found

Anyone having the same issue and any help on how to fix??

    thanks

    nameofmysite/?p=2297&preview=true

thank you in advance to anyone who can help.

    Hello,

since there seems to be so many issues with wp 4 —
is anyone having this same problem? I;m not finding much in the way of a solution when searching.

    also,
when i try to preview or switch themes to 2014–dashboard says session expires i have to log in again and when i do it says successuful and then the same log in prompt appears again.
    thank you

Are you using any sort of caching plugin, or do you see a “Clear/Purge Cache” button in your Dashboard or admin bar? If so, would you please try clearing the cache?

If that doesn’t work, try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fourteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

If neither of those make a difference, try re-saving your permalink structure at Settings/Permalinks in your admin panel. If WordPress cannot automatically edit the .htaccess file, it will provide manual instructions after saving.

Hello, I will try all the things you list above,..
    in the meantime”
I don;t have a cache plug in — I will look to see if is there a way to do it manually? ….
    thank you very much.

If you don’t have a cache plugin, or you don’t see a Clear/Purge/Flush Cache button, you don’t have a cache to clear/purge/flush. 🙂
