I couldn’t find any other support for this, but here is problem, I can get the email posting to work, however when it is posted to the blog only the subject is posted, no content of the email is added to the blog, thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

I’m getting the exact same problem, my email provider is bluebottle.com

You stopped searching too soon. 🙂

If you check the Blog_by_Email page in the documentation, you’ll see mention of a bug that might apply to you (hopefully!).

I couldn’t find anything on that page that would explain the body of the email being blank, but this fix worked for me. http://wordpress.org/support/topic/78885?replies=15#post-581832

I too get the extra period, but I can live with it.

I can gettext to come through email with no problems, btu attached images fo rinstance are chown in their base64 encoded strign format, not as an image… anyone else tried post images and text via email to the blogg?

I have the same problem with html emails.
text only emails work just fine, but when it is html only the subject is posted.
