I just upgraded one of my test sites to 4.0 and the only problem I noticed rigtht awasy is that the Genesis Slider CCS seems out of whack. I have it installed in my home page widget Top area. The images are no longer perfectly centered (just off a bit to the right) and there is a huge white gap at the bottom of the slider that overlays the columns below it. No biggie and I don’t have time for further testing, but thought users and developers should be aware. Possibly some CSS was overwritten in the update that I should have moved into my theme CSS, though I’m not sure that is the explanation.

Okay, I figured it out. I had inserted a test of Metaslider on the same page as the Genesis Responsive Slider and they somehow conflict – the Genesis slider appearance is affected but Metaslider is not. When I remove Metaslider from the same page as your slider, the Genesis slider looks fine.

If Metaslider is installed on other pages where Genesis slider is not installed, Genesis still looks great so it’s only when they are both on the same page. FYI, I also tried Woocommerce Slider and there doesn’t appear to be any conflict with Genesis slider or Metaslider.

Maybe this post will help someone else who runs into a similar problem.
