    I see from http://wordpress.org/support/topic/61576?replies=2 that pages do not have categories. What’s the rationale for this?

    One reason I ask is because with the SearchEverything plugin, pages show up in search results, but the category for all pages is the default category (“Uncategorized”, or “Miscellaneous” as I have renamed it).
