Present Posts by Created or Modified Date (not published date)

Hi there –

I am assuming this is a simple tweak to the code but I haven’t jumped in to check it out yet.

My new blog will be made up of posts that are dated in the past (because they involve reviews of concerts from specific dates, etc.) and I want to use the calendar functionality to really highlight that.

So while this is easy enough to do, I don’t want to present the actual blog in that order — rather, I think I would rather have it in created date order (or even modified date) so that it keeps refreshing.

I am assuming this would just require a different database call in the code — I am hoping someone has done this before so I don’t need to dig into the MySQL tables to find all of this. Also, perhaps there is a plug-in or some other hack to do something similar?
