Does bbPress work with WP-Members?

    Hi all.

    I have installed WP-Members plugin, and it does everything I need.

    I have also installed The bbPress pluggin as my forum software.

    However, although new users seem to be given the Forum Role of “Participant” when they register, they don’t seem to be able to post on the bbPress forum. Even if I elevate their forum permissions to Moderator, they still can’t post.

    Can anyone help me troubleshoot this problem.

    Yes, it works – and I use bbPress on the support site (which uses WP-Members as well).

    However, depending on your use of both of these plugins, there may be things you need to look in to in terms of integration.

    WP-Members doesn’t override anything by default that bbPress uses, so I would be surprised that users cannot post even if their role is participant. You might want to double check without WP-Members activated.
