Categories not displaying in sidebar

    I’m hoping that someone out there will be able to help with this…

    In short when I use a k2 theme, or the one that’s currently on my site (black minimalism) I loose the categories section from the sidebar, in this case at the bottom of the page. If I use a different theme, or the default theme, the categories display. So I’m assuming that it’s an issue outside of the themes php files, but can’t seem to find what it might be.

    I’m sure it’s probably something obvious but I can’t for the life of me figure it out.

    Maybe some of your themes isn’t WP2.1 compatible?
    Compare the sidebar.php files from the themes that doesn’t work correctly with the ones that do.

    Thanks for the suggestion, but haven’t upgraded to 2.1 yet. Will have a another look at the sidebar php files for the working and non-working themes and see if I can work out the issue.

    Ok, I seem to have found a work around for this. I think it’s actually more to do with a bug in the theme.
