How do I modify the [….] excerpt?

    I want to remove the [ ] from the excerpt but not the …. so it would look like:

    today I’m talking about this and that….

    instead of:
    today I’m talking about this and that [….]

    I’ve seen a few codes for removing it completely and some for turning it into a permalink but I just want to tweak it.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!
