Hi Kristofferk,
Did you only change it in your wp-config.php file, or did you also change the table names in your database?
Hello!
I changes the DB prefix with this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/db-prefix-change/
It now wants me to reinstall wordpress!!
Could you try logging into DirectAdmin / your hosting control panel and open phpMyAdmin? This way you can check if the prefix has also been changed in the actual database..
Hi again,
The admin.php is not what I meant.. you have to try to access phpMyAdmin from your web hosting control panel.
There you can change the prefix in the actual database. If you don’t manage; contact your web hosting company for support.
i am in there now.
All the prefixes are changed…
YES!
Thank you very much!
I changed the DB prefix in the wp-config.php to the same as in the phpMyAdmin.
Thank you very much!
Hello again!
Now i cannot login to my site.
It says when i try to login to: http://www.site/wp-login.php that I have not the sufficient permissions to access this page.
Is it something in the wp-confic.php?
